Duckies near Edinburgh - Hen Weekends

Duckies are great fun for a hen party and run all year round, the rafts are much smaller and go down pretty much any river.

The more rain makes this activity even more exhilarating, this will be a hen weekend to remember!!! The Duckies are a two person raft similar to a canoe.

Where Can You Duckies?

We have a number of rivers you can do ducky adventure. They are located about one hour North of Edinburgh centre.

Duckies do run all year round which is great even though it might be a little cold in winter. Rain fall only makes Duckies more extreme.

The day will last about 3 hours as you go down a number of different runs. All equipment is provided including a very through briefing. You do not need any experience as the instructor is there with you all the time so you can jump straight into rapid that you would have thought were to challenging at first.

Duckies are an adrenalin pumping, confidence boosting activity that you will just want to do again and again. Because extreme rafts are small means they can go on a lot more rivers than their bigger brothers can.

Take old trainers and swim wear, you will be provided with Wetsuits.

Why we Recommend Duckies

• As you might be able to gather we recommend things that you can not normally do on a run of the mill Stag do.
• We can promise that you will really enjoy this activity but you are probably going to get wet.
• The activity is outside Edinburgh but the journey up to the site and where the site is located is unbelievable, a real bonus to anyone that appreciates natural beauty.

We think these are more fun than the bigger rafts, more like extreme rafting!
