Whitley Bay has all that you need to make your hen weekends fun. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty there are numerous outdoor activities like quad biking, clay shooting, paintballing and go karting. If that wasn't enough, you have a great time taking lessons in burlesque and cheerleading - it's exhausting but fun!

All we had to do was, get into the mood! We started off with comedy clubs, followed by music and dancing which went on till 2 am. We hardly slept but the fun kept up in intensity throughout. Waking up nursing hangovers we had to agree that we had a wonderful hen night.

From bars and restaurants, to the clubs and pubs, this town gets really loud and flashy at night. Whitley Bay is host to everything you may want to do on your stag night. So, have a gala time in Whitley Bay on stag weekends like we did, and if you follow suit all we have to say is - Bravo!

The driving courses in Whitley Bay had Go karts, off road buggies and even quad bikes to choose from. But it was the nights which were out of this world. Our nightclub entry was so easy with the Guest List Entry that we got from our party planners here. You simply escape those long queues and hassles to get onto the dance floor! It was one of the best clubbing experience we all had. But it was the lap dancing clubs which made our stag nights in Whitley Bay sizzle. The hot gals made us sit firm on our seats making us sweat with their act! At the end of it all, we had such a fab time that we recommend Whitley Bay stag weekends to all!

Instead of costly activities in far-off European destinations, we settled for our backyard location of Sunderland and a clutch of popular, yet economical hen do ideas. Nightclubs are anyway an all-time favourite and when you are with your girlfriends you know you have back-up in case anything untoward happens. LOL!

 

We set out for clay pigeon shooting on Saturday . It was interesting to note, that for most of us, it was a first-hand experience in shooting of any kind. We were lined up and in a flash, scores of birds shot up from all possible directions and we were cracking the popper like crazy. Though most of the shots missed the targets, at the end of the day we were thrilled with the small heap of broken pieces of clay. Shooting done, we headed off to an evening with 'gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight...' blaring for us to do the disco moves! Great idea for a hen party, right?

 

Nightclubbing is a great bet to sample the local nightlife and to chat up guys. The music kept us going all night. Hip hop, salsa, techno, rock, pop - we had it all and more in these night clubs. Nightclubs are all about dance, booze and boys and we are not complaining! ;-)

As the zorb picked up speed, I thought I couldn't hold on any longer and even felt I would puke, but just thinking about the rest of the gang, made me smile. Being inside a ball and bouncing like a maniac was fun and a little scary. But, oh yes - its a real nutty idea for a hen do.

This country has a vibrant party culture and an amazing choice of night haunts to be explored. So you can imagine how it was when we headed out on the streets in a plush double-decker party bus. The ride in these mobile party machines was sheer fun with loud music and a stacked mini-bar. The bus dropped us off at a nightclub, where the cocktails and the beauties made our day! The night was still young and so we were back on the bus - off to a lap dancing club nearby! Lap dances on stag nights - now what a way to show your buddy what he will be missing when he gets hitched. Stag night in Scotland was something else for sure!
