A young male holidaying in Crete has learnt one of life's lessons: sambuca and aniseed on male genitals hurts when set alight.

He didn't actually try this himself, but had the help of a local Cretan lass who took offence to him lowering his pants and then make lewd suggestions to her. After ignoring her vehement rebuttals, she claimed she had no choice but to set a lighter to his alcohol dowsed member. He is now receiving treatment for second degree burns in a local clinic where presumably the nursing staff are laughing their socks off. 

Lad's father is surprised: "He swears blind that he's never met her or seen her. He's not the kind of lad that gets himself in trouble – he's a kind-hearted, generous boy." Yeah right, Dad - kind hearted enough to offer his sexual favours to a local greek girl.

The said boy has been holidaying on the island with 5 school friends for 2 weeks in which time he has apparently changed character and grown to become a typical english male. We assume his burnt member is matched by the rest of the body which probably has 2nd degree sun burn.

And so: if you are going to remove your trousers in a public place, ensure that there are no local wenches drinking aniseed and sambuca. On second thoughts: don't go to places where they drink anything as disgusting as that. 

We at GoBananas are great believers in having fun and generally making the most of the one life we are given. So it is some dismay that we learn that only 1 in 7 english males has had sex in public.

Now the FCO (who commissioned the report) and sundry broadsheet newspapers think this is shockingly large figure: we on the other hand think that this is a shockingly small number.

Sex is the most important thing in life after metaphysics and mapping the genome and to realise that 6 in 7 english males are hiding away under a duvet is sad to say the least.

So English Men, you take a holiday in the sun, go on and have some fun. Same applies to the ladies as well.

Don't mistake this for “tombstoning” which has been in the press recently for a spate of deaths after youngsters go jumping from height into water, ther'll be no jumping off piers here guys. You will explore rocky coastline and climb, swim (and have the option to jump) , turning rocks, cliffs, caves and waves into playthings! 

 Our coasteering activity involves adventure swimming, climbing and minimal jumping and diving. Your group will be shown the ins and outs by an experienced guide for a half day or full day trip. All safety equipment is provided which includes wet suit, gloves to prevent abrasions -(may be provided by the wet suit), shoes to provide grip on rocks and a helmet. 

 On a calm day it is possible to explore caves, when it gets rougher hold onto your hats - it can be a rollercoaster ride!

Highland Games - sex and the city style (Blue Sky).  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and would very definately do it again.
