If you are organising a stag or hen weekend its
important to plan ahead to give yourself enough time to get the cash in.
Most places will require a 20% deposit on booking which is generally non-refundable however, most suppliers understand that group numbers will go up or down. As long as you confirm numbers 4 weeks prior to arrival you will generally find that the deposit will go towards the balance and you won’t loose money.
Ask everybody going on the weekend to pay the 20% straight away, this will tell you who is serious about coming and who is not. You will want to try and get the full balance off everyone at least 6 weeks prior to the date which will stop you panicking about having to pay for people. There is nothing worse than trying to chase everyone the night before for payment.
Don’t try and accommodate everyone, you’ll only drive yourself mad about what activities you should do, you could even keep all the activities as a surprise. The average weekend will cost you about £250 pp which includes day and night time activities, the costs also depending on which city. See example below:

It is actually cheaper now to get hotels in London than it is in Edinburgh. Most hotels in the popular stag and hen cities will only accept a two night minimum stay over the weekends.
