Canyoning in Scotland Stag Weekends

Canyoning is a great activity to do on a stag weekend in Scotland

Canyoning is a sport that will test your nerve as you stand on the edge of a cliff 60 foot, trying to convince yourself that jumping into a pool of deep brown water is good fun. It is a scream, especially when you've jumped and your looking at your mates who have to go next. It's hysterical.

You'll swim across rives, climb rocks, slide down chutes and jump off cliffs, surrounded in amazing Scottish countryside. It's definitely worth a shot if you've never done it before.

Canyoning is just raw fun, just you and nature and the whole stag group will be able to enjoy it at the same time.

All the equipment will be provided, but we do suggest you take old trainers, trunks and a towel.

How far is Canyoning from:

  • Aberfeldy Canyoning - 10 to 30 min
  • Aberdeen Canyoning - 1hr
  • Aviemore Canyoning - 30 mins
  • Dundee Canyoning - 45 mins
  • Edinburgh Canyoning - 1hr 20 mins
  • Glasgow Canyoning - 1hr 20 mins
  • Perth Canyoning - 20 to 30 mins

Why not combine Canyoning with rafting, paintball, clay shooting, quad biking or mini highland games.

The Canyoning was a great laugh, we talked about throughout the whole stag weekend. Going to see if I can get the lads motivated at the office to try it next. Any excuse to do it again!!!
