Micro-quads in Birmingham

Micro-quads in Birmingham

If you've ever visited an inner-city park, seen a feral teenager riding a miniature motorbike at small dogs and wondered how it feels, then micro-quad biking is for you. Great activity for any stag weekend in Birmingham or Hen weekwnd in Birmingham.

Although there are probably hundreds of companies out there to help you live your dream, Gobananas is definitely worth checking out - but unlike the aforementioned feral youngsters, you won't be allowed to wear a tracksuit tucked into your socks.

As part of the event, you'll get to ride around in a practice session before going head-to-head in an adrenaline fuelled race at high speeds - with your feet around five centimetres away from the floor.

Even though you won't be able to spend the whole day burning around the track, you will be able to experience all of the thrills of riding a four-wheeled motorbike that's frankly far too small for you.

Maybe you could buy yourself a brand-new hoodie to make it feel even more special.

Break waves in Newquay

Break waves in Newquay

If you've ever spent any time watching repeats of old Australian soap operas and wished you could spend more time hitting the surf, why not grab a board and head to Newquay?

The British Professional Surf Association is holding a surf event at Praa Sands on October 29th, where you'll get to don your baggies, pack up your beater and get yourself and your grom board down to the beach.

Newquay's surfing extravaganza will allow you to compete head-to-head against up to 48 other surfers - you never know, you might even get to ride an A-frame wave with a few of your friends.

At this time of year the waves should be good enough for you to get a few aerial barrel rolls, or even a decent bit of air.

Just try and make sure you don't do an acid drop.

Check-in for the event is between 8:30 BST and 09:00 BST and you're going to need to book early to be guaranteed a place.
